nova-compute-qemu software package provides OpenStack Compute - compute node (QEmu), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nova-compute-qemu
nova-compute-qemu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nova-compute-qemu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nova-compute-qemu *
You will get with nova-compute-qemu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
